Abstract

Com o objetivo de analisar os impactos socioambientais e econômicos do PNPB (Programa de Produção e Uso de Biodiesel) no Nordeste, a Fundação Joaquim Nabuco (FUNDAJ) vem desenvolvendo pesquisa interdisciplinar intitulada "Biodiesel e Desenvolvimento Sustentável no Nordeste Brasileiro". Análises e reflexões realizadas neste trabalho fundamentaram-se nos resultados da mencionada pesquisa. Termos para indexação: PNPB, FUNDAJ, agricultura sustentável. ABSTRACT BIODIESEL IN THE NORTHEAST OF BRAZIL With the objective to analyze the socio-environmental and economical impacts from PNPB (National Program for Production and Use of Biodiesel) in the Northeast of Brazil, the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation (FUNDAJ) is developing a interdisciplinary research under the title "Biodiesel and the sustainable development in the Brazilian Northeast". The analysis and reflections presented in this present paper on the biodiesel issue are based upon the result obtained in the mentioned research.
