Abstract
Translation, as a phenomenon of enrichment of language and culture, is a means of knowledge for those who cannot speak a foreign language. Given the fact that legal translation combines good knowledge of language, the art of translation, and a series of legal notions, this type of translation should be defined considering that linguistic, cultural and legal particularities are determined by changes in the contemporary legal systems of the languages brought into contact.
